Yahoo search help on the way

Sarah

As Yahoo still looks for ways to claw back its market share from Google the Yahoo search pad is nearing completion.

The Search Pad will automatically save your websites that you visit and take notes as you search when it realises that you are in a research mode. You can then edit and save your notes for future use.

Once this document is saved you can revisit it at any time and continue your search, with input from the Search Pad. The great benefit to it is that it can link in to the Yahoo search engine to help you put together your notes and can also remind you if it thinks you should be taking notes.

Yahoo hopes that this will lead to a turnaround in its recent fortunes and encourage more people to search with them.
