As part of Hitachi Ltd, Hitachi Consulting UK offers agile business-led technology solutions and management consultancy to clients such as easyJet, Whitbread and Experian, across a diverse range of sectors.

Working closely alongside Hitachi Consulting UK and their development team, White Hat Media managed a complete website overhaul project over several months to deliver new user journeys and fresh, compelling copy which would be optimised for targeted, organic search terms across a new 40-page website.

What we did: 

White Hat Media was tasked with developing and mapping out brand new user journeys and site maps for the UK version of the Hitachi Consulting website. 

In order to achieve this, White Hat Media created detailed content architecture and a labelling system for simplified navigation.  Alongside this, content workshops with VPs and experts were set up to ensure accurate technical content delivery. 

Following extensive keyword and competitive market analysis, our SEO team implemented a strong content strategy using technical B2B search optimised content and the most relevant industry key phrases. 

By using this research and after conducting extensive briefings with the Hitachi UK team, White Hat Media were able to draft targeted product landing pages for the Alliance section of the Hitachi Consulting UK website to help drive top organic positions.

This campaign involved project management all the way through planning, implementation and delivery, right from start to finish.

The results:

Hitachi Consulting UK site saw growth of 84.35 percent in non-paid search engine visits from August 2011 to June 2012. Unique visits to the website rose by 81.41 percent and page views have increased 44.88 percent over the same period. Google traffic has increased 91.98 percent during this time.

Key service-offering landing pages saw increases of up to almost 1,300 percent from August 2011 to June 2012. Completion of important website goals such as enquiry forms and content downloads has increased on average 85.31 percent, with data capture increasing 366.67 percent over the same period.
