Messaging

Messaging is a form of internet communication through standard email or instant messaging. There are now methods of making face-to-face phone calls with the advent of web cams and software.

Instant messaging is a private chat room where you can invite people to join you and relay instant text to one another. The developments in software and hardware now allow you to make internet telephone calls to and from anywhere in the world for free (depending on your internet access).

These forms of communication are becoming increasingly important in the business world as much as personal lives. The cost and ease of setting up conferences calls is now a much simpler process than ever.

Meta description

A meta description is a tag in the head of any HTML document, unseen by the user, that describes page content and can be displayed in the page listing in a search engine result.

For Search Engine Marketing practices, it is valuable for identifying page content correctly as much as influencing ranking. Usually a short description containing 15 to 20 words, it can be formatted easily as a short summary for any given page.

Meta Keywords

A meta keyword tag is placed in the head of any HTML document, unseen by the user, containing keywords relevant to that page to help search engines to identify the content of the page for indexing.

Meta Tag

Part of the HTML code, meta tags contain information that the website owner wants to deliver to search engine spiders. They contain information such as page titles, keywords and description tags. Meta tags are used by search engines to generate and display search results based on what keywords a user inputs into the search engine.

Meta Stuffing

Meta stuffing is the greyhat SEO process of repeating keywords in meta tags and of using meta keywords that are unrelated to the content of the site.
