These are excellent for boosting your website traffic and for getting higher rankings on search engine lists. It is best practice to make sure that the links are to and from similar companies as this will enhance your reputation with the search engines. You can arrange reciprocal links by forging good relationships with related companies or arrange something like a newsletter exchange. This process is also known as link swap or link exchange.

A file of code usually placed in the root of your website that instructs a search engine spider what pages, sections or directories to exclude from its database. This will help prevent meaningless information being indexed and save on bandwidth.
This code will help you determine what files and directories you want covered by expressing certain rules. Care should be taken with these codes as implementing them incorrectly could lead to crawl errors, and your site not getting indexed by search engines.
