All around the country, Chartered Institute of Marketing is represented by regional chapters, and for the year 2009-2010 White Hat Media chose to sponsor the Sussex chapter.
About every six weeks, CIM Sussex organises events which are at once educational and excellent networking opportunities. The last event of this year hosted last week by Brighton's University's Business was attended by over 100 people.
Each event deals with a topic of particular interest to marketers. You could be hearing about themes as varied as marketing and finances, direct mail, or marketing in the recession. CIM Sussex welcomes CIM members as well as guests.
If you happen to be a chartered marketer, as well as keeping up to speed with your profession's best practices, attending these events will also earn you CPD credits.
